ok, I just had to dig a few old pics out. I see a resemblance to yours. :)

Figured I should blur an old GF though. I think I had mine from about '92 to '96 or so. Honestly was probably my second favorite vehicle I have ever owned.

Mine didn't either. The pic with the white bike I think is how it came, pretty plain. I added the sunroof, tires and rims, and a bunch of other stuff before I sold it.

There is a tack sensor on the front of the pump, here is the connector that you get your signal from...

jeff did you run your altenator wires, oil sending unit wire & break boost hose around the inside edges of passenger inner fender towards the back of the engine.... i have mine running between engine & firewall I used zip ties to tie to Brake lines & clutch line to hold it in place??? its does seem to work..!

man the tach is pita.. i did catch the tach input signal at the coil... yellow with the blue stripe at the coil!! you can kinda figure out from your pic below where all the wires go... & finally got the thing working (thanks alot for the pic)....i plan on mounting the dakota digital behind the drivers kick panel out of the weather...the 4d56t i rebuilt is not one of the newer ones.. hence the name "cyclone",also i cant get the darn heat gauge to work... the mits gas had 3 sending units... 2 around the thermostat housing & one at the bottom corner of the rad...!!! I need All the info i can get on wiring harness on a mits gas 2.6 in a mazda truck....this is a tough one.. mazda made it for only for 2 years with a mits gas engine.. info on its wiring harness is very poor..!

Looks good man! Make sure you get a shroud around that fan, the temp will climb on hills without it. I ended up using a dual speed electric fan from a Taurus. It pushes a lot more air than the stock fan.

what year of Taurus .. and again how did you wire that thing in..???? i used an mazda automatic trans rad for cooling & used the auto transmission cooler to preheat diesel into ip so i can burn summer diesel year round.. 2 diesel line into automatic trans cooler.jpg

Taurus must have had to a sensor some place to kick fans in & out...! if anyone is wondering why all the blue tape ????? Its to separate the mazda wiring from the mits diesel... i tell ya all the vac lines & wires comming off of the mits carbed 2.6 gas engine... it will drive anyone nuts!!!2.6 gas.jpg
