Purchased an M116A2 with hopes of converting to a mobile bivouac/camper. I'm sorry, but I have limited resources so this build is going to be slow going but I will update as I go.
Purchased this gem for $599 dollars.
Over Labor Day my father helped me install a queen bed frame. At first we made it a bit too tall, my wife and I would never have been able to sit up in bed or even move around.
We took it out and trimmed it down to a good size. Takes away from the storage under the bed, but that's okay, we like having the sleeping space.
The pad on the bed is my Jeep bed I used temporarily to test the bed, I've since purchased a queen air bed and might replace that with a regular mattress.
I even found a little ladder on a trail that fits well with the trailer.
My dad is an awesome carpenter. He even notched out the bottom of the frame to allow room for the bolts on the trailer floor.
I purchased a small propane BBQ grill for $24 dollars.
Future plans:
Fold out table.
Shower.
Shelves.
Water storage.
Sink.
We plan on going camping later this month and I'll take lots of pics.
