NAMIB desert - Integral crossing

Hi

This is my last little video about our expedition crossing the Namib desert with Geko Expeditions. Our itinerary started in Luderitz (Namibia) with a strait line up north, across the forbidden Spergebiet 1 (diamond area) and Spergebiet 2 (diamond area) as well as the Namib-Naukluft Park, and ended in Walvis Bay, about 750km later, for a duration of 7 days.
Hope you'll enjoy.
cheers.

Awesome!

Is there somewhere I can get a GPS track log, waypoints or otherwise details on the exact route you took?

A trip like this is absolutely on my list when I eventually get down there.

Hi Dan. Thanks for your feed-back.
No sorry, no gps tracks available. This trip can only be undertaken with an lots of conditions, ... and an approved itinerary and guiding company.
These areas are strictly forbidden (and controlled) for private people without that.

Very very nice. All that sand, looks like another world to me.

You have the best videos showing Overlanding in my opinion. While I enjoy many others, these always seem to get to me. I don't need it said, when I see the video I know. That is why you travel. No narration, no explanation, no bull. The cinematography says everything.

When I make my amateurish videos, your the standard I shoot for. I may never get there, but in my mind that quality of showing landscape, scenery, and vehicle action so well it does not need any explanation, that is what I want.

Thanks. Do you have the name of a guiding company I can call to find out about prices, etc?

Stunning landscape, what a contrast between the desert and the sea. Excellent job with the video, it was inspiring! Thanks for sharing.

Agreed on being a great video. I and my wife watched it a couple of weeks ago. Surreal and those downhill runs were impressive.

Thank you all for your very nice words and feed-backs.

Thank you Airmapper. Not sure about that... We are doing videos very modestly, with limited resources. Would love to step up a notch with more GoPro shots from different pov, traveling shots, time laps etc... but difficult to do while guiding a group...
