Neat little rig

I requested photos and spec sheet but have not heard back.
Am I the only one that cannot see the photobucket images? Only the first one visible.
Thx

But is it worth $27,500?

I got my rader 4x4 for 15K and it wasn't as nice or as low mileage. Some tire kickers offered 20 from afar, but didn't follow through.
If it's as nice as it looks it's worth 22 at least. But really with these rigs, it's how much you want one and how long the seller can hold out for the right buyer.
This one looks pretty sweet. 1 ton rear, check. Stick 22R. And if it's an 85 it should be a solid front axle which I can't tell for sure from the pics.
Definitely worth looking into.

Love these things, but always wonder how underpowered they must be with the 22RE. I had an old '89 Pickup with that motor, and it was no rocket...empty. Very cool though, interested in seeing a few more pics.

Pretty underpowered, which makes a stickshift crucial.
Can't get out of its own way on mountain passes or going up any sort of grade, but does just fine on the flats, highway, around town, etc.
That said, after 5 years with the 22R, I'm transplanting a 3.4 into mine.

Yep, that's all I needed to hear/read. Selling my Syncro right now, and don't want to get right back into a vehicle in need of a conversion. Too bad, I love these rigs!

They are great rigs for short trips. Power is no problem, gear down go slow. More of an issue is the are pretty close to max GVW empty. They have a super layout, the rear dinette is perfect. Going rate low $20000.

Ditto. Me to. I have emailed three times- no photo, no interest on their part.. .guess this is not for real.

My impression when I first read the ad was that it was 'fishing' and not entirely serious. Sort of like a certain 4x4 provan tiger in Colorado that pops up for sale periodically.

My thoughts exactly. Very suspicious that he doesn't have any more photos other than that small one--and that he directs you to other sites to see pics which are not even of his rig.
Also, though it's hard to tell from that tiny pic, it doesn't look like a straight axle front end, which it ought to be if it's a 1985. Also if it's truly a 1985 sunrader 4x4 with a stick, it ought to have a 22R motor, not a 22re.
Hmmm.
