Need advise on new bumpers for 2012 GMC Sierra 3500

Alright,

I am currently in the market for an all steel bumper for my 2012 Sierra 3500. My current is stock with a range hand grill guard, but both have lost my faith. After a small bumper vs. fence post incident with my truck, its time to replace the absolute garbage stock one. I have been all over the net for weeks but cannot seem to find what I want. There are plenty of them made for Chevy but very few for a GMC. I really like the buckstop low profile style, but I have heard they rust easily and the $2K plus price tag isn't going to happen. I also like the Road Armor but its also well over $2K and I am not digging the overall profile. Ranch Hand is out as I despise diamond plate bumpers. I understand you get what you pay for but.....

Question is are there any manufactures out there that make something like the Buckstop (full wrap) but under $1400?? A winch bumper would be nice, but this rig does not go wheeling. Local fabrication is out. I checked with the couple in town and they make strictly for jeep. I can weld but currently lack the time and place to do it. Any ideas?

If you're into tube bumpers Addictive Desert Designs makes one for the new GMC's, it's a tube/plate type, and in your price range as a basic low profile version. Most of the big bulky plate steel bumpers are going to be expensive as hell. A guy at work just ordered a Trail Ready bumper for his '11 Chevy truck and it was over $2k.
