need geek help with .usr file (lowrance)

I need to know if it's possable to convert a .usr file created by lowrance to a text file with the coords of waypoints converted to simple text. I don't have a GPS handy at the moment to even start trying and I have a .USR file from Soaz that I need to convert so as to create maps for the Fourpeaks cleanup this weekend.

OK... this is so far beyond me at this point. I cant even figure out how to install the software after I download the zipfile. Do you run either of these softwares?
