Admittedly this is going to be our very first thread so forgive us if we get it wrong. We are new here but we've had enough customers mention ExPo so figured it was time to jump in.
We did an scheel-mann Klima seat install in Reno for a customer with a TruckHouseCo Tacoma. That thing is a beast. Fun as hell to be able to crawl around it and see what was being done. The customer didn't have any available switch slots anywhere and we weren't happy with just using the standard round switches that come with the kit. We already developed a harness that is plug-n-play for the OEM seat heater switches so at least those would operate as expected when we switched out the seats. Our mounting kit already takes care of ALL the other problems with mounting aftermarkets seats so there is NO airbag light, no CEL, no other dashlights. We solved it all. BUT we wanted to have a cleaner look for the customer's Klima cooling function that fit with the style of the truck. We already hunted down the correct switches that will work with our setup but we just needed a way to mount the switches close to the occupants. After a lot of plasctic pieces were removed and inspected we finally settled on the perfect spot on the center console.
We developed the switch bezels and the templates and put together a complete kit. Right now we have the bezel kit available on the site but eventually we will offer the complete bezel, switch, harness kit as well. Came out exactly as we had hoped. Adding a couple of photos and the install video we did.
