Am I correct that the Powerpack 2 is basically an ark pack without a built in inverter? Is the inverter in the ark pack a pure sine inverter?

Hi Brett,
Can the Arkpak 730 run a fridge and charge via a solar panel at the same time?

I am sure Brett will give an official answer but I believe yes you can. The solar panel just needs to have its own controller. I charge mine via 12volt and run the fridge at the same time with no issues. I just haven't had the need to plug my solar panel into out on the trailer.

Hi e60ral

sorry for the very long delay in relation to the reply to your questions, when you break the question down like you have the short answer is yes that is correct and the inverter in the AP730 and AP715 are a Modified Sine Wave inverter

HI Tireiron

sorry for the delay in coming back to you yes you can do exactly what you have suggested this will be no problem, the only thing to make sure of is your solar panel MUST have either a charge controller or voltage regulator to protect the battery from being over charged.

any more questions please ask.
