New Base Camp Owner

After a few weeks of looking hard, multiple offers and subsequent retractions (seller's remorse is a constant theme with the Conquerors I have noticed, and for good reason) I managed to get a hold of a Base Camp in OKC. I'm the 3rd owner but the guys took care of it well. Some very minor work needs to be done but all cosmetic/basic. Thanks to everyone who offered and contacted me.

Now I need to change my signature.
See before and after pics of my accommodation set-up attached.

First trip: Rusk, TX KOA for the annual Texas Potjie Festival with a bunch of South Africans on Labor Day weekend. I know I know, no off-roading. But I will use the trip as a learning experience of the set-up and unit itself. Can't wait!

Hey, congratulations, Theo!
I came very close to getting the Basecamp instead of the Compact. I would've swapped tents to a 2200 probably but I love the galley and box.
Enjoy it in good health.

Great news that you have joined the Trailer Clan.

The Texas Potjie Festival sounds like fun, nothing like food from a Potjie. I'm interested in some recipes.

Even though it doesn't qualify as an expedition I'd love to read a post on the event.
