update

k, i mounted the rims today on 35inch dunlop mud rovers(2009 new design). they look so **************!!! they clear just fine with the rubicons factory lift but rub a little when backing up. I will be installing the rubicon express 2.5 lift at the begin of next week. A new chromoly spreader bar is being welded in the rear today along with beefing up the stock frame etc . i will have pics soon!!!!

I'm excited to see your build but, What happened to "there will be no store-bought parts?" The RE 2.5 kit is about as store-bought as you can get.
It's a good kit, but I'm just saying. I was looking forward to seeing what you were going to come up with for a custom suspention.
Cant wait to see the rest of it though.:)

sorry guys what i was meaning is the exocage, front and rear bumpers, fenders, skid gards, rock rails, side ladder, light rack etc are completely hand fabricated . The lift, tires, wheels, lights, winch,hi lift jack etc are store bought!!! i wish we could make that stuff. so we removed the front bumper and front lower support bar. we cleaned up that area and fitted a chromoly spreader bar and gained 10 inches of clearence.
