New build questions

Greetings all,
We just returned from our first Overland Expo and have become highly motivated to build up our 2011 SBDC TRD Tacoma! Things we have done to it already: Wet Okole seat covers, Weathertech mats, Leer topper, Oz-Tent Foxwing, National Luna Weekender 52 on Tembo Tusk pull out (fridge not yet mounted...need bed storage ideas first...and dual battery set-up). We are looking at the National Luna dual battery kit as our next upgrade. Then on to suspension. Herein lies the problem; I am looking for definitive opinions on the Old Man Emu Nitrocharger sport kit (OME -TACO-0511F). We want to put 255/85/16s on some American Racing Mojaves. Are there rubbing issues? What are everyone's opinions of the OME suspension? What is the actual lift gain (we will be putting on a front bumper and winch as well)?
Thanks!
Mike

Like a million threads about the Tacoma OME setup, However...

-the "kit" from OME is the best shock and spring setup for the money with Overlanding as a focus. Period.

-255/85-16s don't rub with the OME lift.

-Id check the width of the American Racing Mojaves wheels and the offset. Id stick with stock offset and stock 7" wide wheels.

-Lift gain is a bit taller than advertised in the rear and the front can be shimmed with trim packers to help adding weight to either one side or the other from dual battery's and other modifications. They offer an Xtra leaf for the rear leaf pack if you think you will be loaded all the time or pretty heavy. I run it and I like it.

I would run the heavy stuff if you want a bumper, winch, topper, and all that Expo bling.
Id buy from Kurt. He would also be able to help answer questions I'm sure. http://cruiseroutfitters.com/sus_Tacoma2.html

-National Luna is nice however I like the IBS system better. Super simple and from all accounts so far, reliable... and did I say simple.

Other than that simple answer Id search cause there are a zillion post regarding DC Tacoma's.

Very common wheel/tire setup with that suspension. You may get a slight rub at the rear of the front fender at full steering lock.

It's, as zolo said, the best for the money. For overlanding, it's 75% or even 90% as good as the ICON or other setups for a much lower price.
