That vid definitely illustrates how bumpy fatbikes are in that type of terrain. I took my Mukluk out for three hours today and reminded myself just how rough the ride is, even with 6-7 psi. Bumpity.

As a non-bike rider, I have to ask how do you ride back up the mountain?

I've seen Mongoose single speed fat bikes at Walmart for around $200.

I'd like to have a fat bike with a 125 cc engine on it for the trips back up hill.

With a Bosch e-bike by Felt. Sorry not available at Walmart yet, but the bike industry is definitely going for the Walmart crowd with these e-bikes (wouldn’t you love to see a schwinn /black and decker combo).
I bet that battery with be toast at -20, then you have to peddle, OMG.
I must admit that I forget the lower 48 has fat bikes.
