How deflated? I think if you've still have a minimum of air in the tires ie: ten pounds or so you'd be okay.

I had to go down to about 6 to get it low enough. I ended up reinflating to park it then deflated again to remove. I got some small tires I can throw in for storage purposes and will honestly be faster than inflating/deflating.

I put some water in the tank when I was there and didn't use that much but dust drain out that much. Not sure if its stuck in the hot water tank or not.
Does anybody travel on road with a full tank of water or full up before going out in the wild?
The only glitch I seemed to run in to was that the furnace was causing the smoke alarm to go off but there was no smoke. I assume that it was because it was new and burning off the residue. Any thoughts on that?
The co alarm went off once too, not sure why, the door was open.
It wasn't super cold out that night but it got cold in there, I could have run te furnace more but was worried about the alarm. Seems like I lost a lot of heat from the popup area. I think an arctic pack is in my future. I wish they were cheaper, that's why I didn't get it from the beginning.

You did your coast trip already? If not go up near big sur and check out Prewitt Ridge. There is also a small campground just down on the coast side called Kirk Creek. Kirk was always full when I went. You have to get there really early to get a spot.

Not yet, I just did a test run locally to try out everything. We leave for that next Tuesday. I wasn't planning on going that far north this time but it's on my list. Good to know in case I change plans. I have to travel for work on that following Sunday so my trip may get cut short anyway.

furnace will set off the smoke alarm when new, burning off the residue from manufacturing. takes a good couple hours of running to clear it all off then all will be good (i ran mine for hours at home before using in the field). you will need to drain the 6 gallons from the hot water tank as well, and make sure the faucet is open otherwise you will never get a complete drain of the system. my wife thinks the furnace and hot water are the best investments

I tried to drain both water tanks and don't think I got it all out. Is there a way to purge it?

With the arctic pack can you leave it there and put the roof down or do you have to remove and reinstall each time?

Mine has been in since I bought it a couple months ago. The previous owner said he left it in as well.

hot water is probably the most confusing part of the 4WC, start by opening the faucet (hot and cold), it will never drain unless open--causes a negative pressure. opent eh fresh water drain (parked on a slope helps to) and drain for a while until you think you have 6 gallons of free space in the fresh water 20 gallon thank. then open the valve in the cabinet for the hot water drain, it will drain INTO the fresh water tank. you should hear it running in. then just continue draining, will take quite a while. when its all done draining, close the faucet and the hot water drain and your good to go. i usually leave my fresh water drain open for a couple days and drive around to make sure more comes out.

And of course the jalama burger was awesome! But I don't have a picture of that because I ate it too fast...
