Hallo Mucki

Have you noticed any increase in insect or stone hits on the windshield with the camper overhang?

Do you have any longer term data on the change in fuel economy?

I noticed you have posted a price on your US web site. What all does that price included?

Thanks

cfmaier.com, a composite manufacturer that makes bodys/panels for Hallmark and Earthroamer, but doesn't market their own camper.

No, there are rather less particle hitting the front, because a wind cushion builds up between the hood, windshield and nook (overhang)
I noticed a minor increase of 3% on my high diesel Rubicon with 35x12,5" MT tires. My stock Unlimited diesel showed a increase of 5%.
The same happened with the Rubicon 3.8V while driving around from Prescott to Las Vegas, to the Gran Canyon north rim and back.
Mario from AT Adventure Trailers will know more due to his testing. actioncamper.info U.S. website !
Mario is in charge for all U.S. related matters, but please read the product details. That tell all. We never made a short list so far.
Thank you too for your interest.

Thanks for you suggestion, but we need to find a manufacturer who doesn't work for other camper builders, or build his own camper.
Nobody would be interested in a transfer of knowledge, data and other internals.

The 2007 JKU with the 3.8 that we had the ActionCamper on was set up with 4.88 gears and 35" BFG AT tires. This combination yielded 14 MPG on the highway and in town. We are moving the ActionCamper to a 2012 with the 3.6 motor, similarly configured with 35s and 4.88s. The expectation is that we will see 17 mpg. We'll report on this once we have some miles in.

We still try our best to manufacture the ActionCamper in the U.S. and do all structural parts of the interior in fiberglass to lower the price.
