New from California - New to overlanding.

Hello fellow Nissan people

I have been trolling this site for years. My opportunity to purchase an overland rig finally came up and I took it.

I decided on a low millage, 2012 Nissan Xterra 4x4 with the S trim.

This is my first 4x4 vehicle.

My ultimate intention is to produce a capable overlanding rig. (I really need to escape from the desk job)

Anyways, I got it a couple of weeks ago

My first MOD. A receiver hitch

2nd mod. A Thule T2 bike rack
My buddy helped me install it at his house
I've got to carry my bikes around

I have a mod list a mile long as I'm sure most people on this site do. I would love to explore the surrounding desert.

All of this is very new to me and I can't wait to jump in. There is so much to read and explore.

I was originally going to go with white, but I saw the red and fell in love!

Oh you know.... EVERYTHING, lol

I'm still working on an order, but;

Front winch bumper
Rear bumper with tire carrier
Suspension lift to accomodate larger tires
Sliders
Roof rack that can accomodate an RTT
Off road lights
CAI
Exhaust
Ect.

All in time I suppose.
