New Gen3 owner.

After going back and forth on what to do with my vehicle situation I decided to pull the trigger on a Monty. Feels like they are exceptional value.

This local 1 owner Monty came up for sale and seemed like a good buy. I was hoping for fewer miles but since it was a one owner with no accidents on record I settled for it. 124k on the odo. I also like the 20th Anniversary trim, especially inside. Grey wood is much better on my eyes than the brown/redish that you see in the limited. Also, wanted to go silver, but decided this black one was ok. In the right light, when clean, black is sexy. The blacked out look is sexy too...I feel like Russian mafia in it.

I've been lost in cycling the past few years while the kids gets some life under their belt. We're hoping that we can get back to hiking, mountain biking, camping, etc etc now that the kids are older. Hopefully this rig will enable us. I don't plan to do any super difficult terrain in it...just get out in the back country a bit, away from people and the bustle of the city.

Your story is very similar to my own, except I only have one kid and my Montero is black and tan. Hoping we both enjoy our new rides.

Looks great! I like that grey wood tone on the trim, plus the steering wheel looks better without the wood grain on it.
