Hello, i finally bought a FZJ80 after wanting one forever. I own a FJ40 also, have had it for 6 years. It is SOA, chevy 350, 37'' tires. But i have decided to rebuild it and drop in a new crate 350 and go down to 35s. So while it is down i decided i need another cruiser and found a good deal locally. Now proud owner of a 1996 FZJ80. 160k miles. When i bought it the past owner already installed some BFG A/Ts 285s. Other than that, all stock. I have currently added some thule bars to carry my yaks or a basket in the future. Also plan to add a OME j lift and possibly down the road some 315 KM2s. Right now i am focusing on the maintenance. I do plan on doing some adventures out to CO since that is where i am from but dont remember any of it since we left when i was 5. and would also like to check out Utah and Arizona.
Currently live in Tampa Florida, not much into hard wheeling. The 40 has never been; i built it in my high school days and was more into the cool factor. I like to stick with the scenic trails and tread lightly. My parents currently reside in Murpy NC, i have enjoyed Tellico OHV, and cruising through the Smokeys.
couple pictures. One of my self and my Husky, she has never loved car rides but she didnt want to get out of the 80. She loves all the windows she can look out.
