A jeep with 3" lift and drop brackets I think is a waste. You will not feel any difference with 3" lift in the ride adding drop brackets, most manufactures recommend 3.5/4.5 of lift before adding brackets. You can leave them on and it will ride the same but with only 3" lift why have the added parts under the vehicle.

I drove an XJ for 13 years. I had a 2 1/2 inch lift the first time and a 5 1/2 inch lift the second time. I never had drop brackets, and did not notice anything harsh even at over 5 inches. I would not want to give up ground clearance for a part I did not need. With a three inch lift you will still use your stock control arms, and the angle will not matter. Also, at that height you will need quite the bump stops to keep 33X9.50 or 10.50 from rubbing. I ran 33X10.50 with my 5+ lift and had a little rub in the front, even with trimmed fenders.

So I adjusted the ACOS spacers to two inches of gap between the top of the adjustable collar to the bottom of the mount. The drop bracket arms are pretty much level. I will see how it rides and the such and make a decision to keep or sell em off.

I am in process of uploading some pics... Pics to come.

Until I figure out how to post images here that show up in posts I made up a flickr account.

Sorry for not having a profile shot but the Jeep is blocked in by a few cars and the such...

Once it gets out of garage confinement and the fenders get wrapped up I will get more pics up.

Ok so I ordered and received the Rubicon Express drop bracket reinforcements. These should go on this wknd, I figured the tranny cross member would be held in by 4 bolts not 2 bolts and 2 studs (possibly made factory line assy faster). They are have been sprayed down with penetrating oil.

Also, I am sure this has been discussed before but how do you post pics that show up in the forum (not hot linked to a hosting site) and what is the max size.

Man, putting those reinforcement brackets on sucked. They are done, and I hope never to do it again. It was a bunch of sequencing and the such. Now I could probably do it in half the time. It would still suck.
