Hi,

just joined this board (usually hang out on MUD and Copper State Cruisers board). I came over here after wheeling Martinez Canyon with goodtimes, and MaddBaggins after Thanksgiving; met Chuck and his cricling dog on the part through Box Canyon.

My husband Michael and I used to live in the Southwest and have come to love the desert. We now make a point to come to AZ as often as we can (after all, our trucks are now stored there). My vehicle is a '72FJ40, and Michael wheels an '85 GMC Jimmy (full size Blazer).

Hope to see you on the trails soon...........

Hello, Claudia, :wavey:

Welcome Claudia,
Did you do the run to Tip Top about a month ago with Copper State Cruisers?
If so then we have met, This is Brian with the white Land Rover.
If that wasn't you, all the same welcome and I hope you enjoy hanging out with us!:wavey:

Hi Claudia,

Welcome to the forum. Keep an eye on the planned adventures section for trail runs in AZ and surrounding states.

I love the pics of the South Dakota Badlands on your website. A place that I really want to visit.

It was nice meeting you guys that day. Sorry I split early, but Me n Fozz had to get back to NM that evening. :D

Welcome!

Wow, don't know where to start..

Awesome site, awesome adventures you have been on!

Awesome Blazer. I have always had a soft spot for the K5's.

AWESOME FJ! 'Nuff said!

You folks look like you are living the dream! Seriously, looks like you will fit right in with this bunch.

Claudia, welcome aboard! You guys have a great site there and it looks like you have been to some fun places. I liked the shots of the Suburban in Moab. very interesting. I love your 40 too. Welcome again and I can't wait to read some more of your stories and see some more pics.

Welcome to the board!

I took a quick look at your site, very nice pics and reports. Death Valley, Badlands, Moab, these are a few of my favorite things!

I'm a big fan of K5's too, dating back to my '89 GMC Jimmy. I spent a lot of time on Watson's board (K5.com) and really enjoyed the utility of a 4x4 you can pop the top off of. I don't know why more manufacturers, other than Jeep, don't see that as a missed market. Nice "new" 40 too!

Keep me in mind if you two ever want to make a trip over into Wyoming!

Hello Claudia. I spoke with you on Mud last winter I recall. I ended up being in Moab last spring at a different time period then you. Maybe we'll cross paths still again.

Nope, not sure my plans yet, but I'll likely be out there a bit early, like around April 1 again. I won't have my rig with me though. I'll be sporting the Silverado and plan on biking, climbing, running, and hiking alot this time through. :jumping:
