New iPhone/iPad GPS app

Hey folks, this is not me hawking this product (because as-is, it's not fit for ExPo use). But, I know the author, and he's willing to entertain ideas to make this a good ExPo tool.

So, I'd really like feedback in terms of desired features, functionality, etc. to pass on. By all means, reach for the sky. All John can say is 'NFW!', right?

Interesting. Sucks for me because I've spent 3 hrs this week on the phone with AT&T about not having service. But this would be SWEET if I did have signal everywhere.

I personally like the drunk comments at the bottom

You don't need cellular signal for the GPS functions to work. aGPS can help when you have no clear view of the sky, but if you're somewhere without 3G coverage, I'm guessing that view of the birds isn't an issue.
