Nice! you going to bring it out to the rally this year?

Sadly, I won't be bringing it to the rally this year because I have a broken down motorcycle over near Lake Wenatchee that I will need to haul home in my trailer, if it's fixed by then. The trailer doesn't have enough room for a bike and a Jeep.

Yes!! I plan to be there, with credit card in hand, and rear seats folded down to haul home my purchases!!

That's why we took our f350 and had the bed loaded fully of products when we left northridge. Must havw been your cod jeep out in the back parking lot?

haha, was that you ib? I saw a the big F350 there and I was like, holy crap, they just spent a pretty penny.

Do you have a pic of what you're putting all that stuff on?

Orange, I saw your Jeep. It didn't click into my head till after I left the open house. It popped into my head that, "oh, that's the guy from the EP site!"

Did you just want the loop on the premium AEV bumper or was there another reason you didn't just add a winch to the factory AEV bumper? Great looking rig, I am a Jeep wannabe owner for the time being.

Yes, I just wanted the loop. To me, It makes a Jeep look more complete, and less NAKED. I sold the stock AEV bumper to a local person.

I installed Truck Lite LED headlights (well, one of them) last night... THEY ARE AWESOME!

Other recent purchases:

4x4sPOD
Floormats
Rigid Industries SRMs
AEV Mudflaps for the rear AEV bumper (I tow trailers, and wanted some rock ding prevention)

I had it about a year and a half. In some ways it was no longer the best vehicle for my needs. Also, it was too nice of a vehicle to get abused by driving it in the winter and getting subjected to road salt and deicer in the area I relocated to.... so it basically hibernated in the garage for about 4 months last winter.

I couldn't stand the seat on long trips. The headrest cause an unnatural head/neck position because the headrest has an obnoxious forward lean to it, so I couldn't stretch my neck and head straight up. The front edge of the seat put pressure on the back side of my thigh, particularly on my left leg, and there was no good place to rest my left foot. The fuel mileage was not what I expected either, but that wasn't a factor in selling it, the above items were. The MPG was no where near what the window sticker said for Highway MPG.

I sold it and bought a 2006 2500HD crew cab with Duramax/Allison combo.

If I had more income, I'd have kept it and bought another rig.

Gotcha. Good luck with your new vehicle. I feel the same way about driving it in the winter. My 10A turned a year old 3 weeks ago and I only have 6000 kms on it.

As fir the mpg, I know what you mean, I was freeking out the few times I used it last winter in minus 30 celcius. I could only get 10-12 mpg in my 30 minutes morning commute (stop and go traffic). Now, same commute different season and I am satisfied with 16 mpg.

As for the window sticker mpg, I know people in the automotive industry, and was explained how they do the test.

It is performed inside, on rollers at 45 mph.

One of the things that I don't get, is the guys on here and on different Jeep forums, running a 4 inch lift, 35 or 37 inch tires and claim to get real close, or even better than the window sticker says!!!!
