New lift just dropped off at the house!!

I just received my lift from the UPS driver. I got setup from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. I'm installing the 8.5 wrap LC coils with the new style sport shocks in the rear and the OME 882's with 5mm spacer and OME sport shocks up front.

I hope to get it installed Thursday nite. Then I'll get some pics

Well it has a busy two weeks. I got the lift installed, trans cooler mounted, a complete stereo system and just got done changing the rear front diffs and transfer case oil.

The lift is great! I need to get it aligned yet but I'm letting the coils settle in for while.

I got the new stereo installed also. I made a sub box drawer amp rack system for the rear. I replaced all the door speakers and the head unit also. It sounds great but it needs a little fine tuning.

Also replaced the the green dash lights to blue led's when I had the dash apart for the stereo too. It looks better and also matches the head unit

How do the 8.5 wrap LC coils compare to OME 891 coil springs? From your pics they look like they lift your vehicle about an inch more than the 891s would, what is load carrying capacity of those coils?

Lift looks good

They do lift it about 4.5 inches right now. I don't have my spare or my off road bumper on yet. That should drop it down to about 3.5.

I'm not sure about the load rating. they do ride plush right now though.
I'm liking that aspect

Not all "8.5" wrap coils will have the same properties in fact Ferg and I have identified at least 10 different front coils used in the 80 Series platforms (including LX450), several of which are 8.5 active wrap yet have different spring rates. I'm still working on getting some more of the coils documented, we have specs and ~2/3's of them but I want to continue verifying the data we've found as well as expand on our database.
