Well I sold the old 255's and stepped up to some 33x12.5x15 Maxxis Bighorn MT's. Also got a set of Wheelers 15x8 Type "B" black steelies. Just took them out in the snow today and they performed great. Not even aired down but such a wider footprint than the 255's it goes where it wants. The Maxxis have factory sippes, studd holes, and I also got them sipped. I will get some snow shots tomorrow:D

What is that white stuff:confused:

Looks good. I dig the new wheels why did you opt for a 15" wheel?

How do they do on hard packed snow? They are definitely on my short list, but I have yet to get any answer about snow performance beyond "They are a mud tire, what do you expect?".

The stuff here is new powder, as for hard pack I will have a better answer at the end of the season. The main difference that I have noticed is the wider track really does well. But I haven't aired down yet so if they are doing this well aired up I can't wait to widen them up:wings:

Pics from Mt. Bachalor, and to reply again on the hard pack question we tested it out tonight and they did great. I had alot of traction, and good braking. Now at about 30-40mph it did do some really cool donuts across the parking lot at the ski slopes:smiley_drive:

The tires are doing great!!! It's parked most of the week so I only have about 2500 miles on them since November. But the MR2 had to sit this week out waiting for a part so I got to rack up some miles on the Taco. The snow is melting so now I can show these "AT" boys how it's done:REExeSquatsHL1:

Shoot me a PM when you are head up there again. I think there is still snow up there, but I haven't been up there for about a month or so. I never thought I would like a canopy so much. Now for the add'ons roof rack, tire gate, and of course more lights:yikes:
