Hi there, my name is Matt, I'm from SoCal and I couldn't be happier that I found this forum.
I've been on TacomaWorld for almost a year now. Bought my truck in April when she was bone stock, and immediately began modding. I have a vision for my truck, and I'm slowly putting the pieces together. My vision is a "Zombie Response Unit" style truck, capable of living in for a extended periods of time if need be. I'm not one of those crazy guys who believes in zombies, but I do like the look and idea of the truck (yeah I watched too many action movies as a kid). I do try to stick with the "function>form" rule whenever I can.
I am an avid nature photographer, emphasizing on landscapes and geographic features. I love to travel and find new and interesting places to shoot, especially in my own backyard of California. I'm working on my own magazine that will feature some of California's best kept outdoor secrets, using photographs and write-ups encouraging the average Californian to get out there and really enjoy some of the most beautiful places in their state they may have never even heard about. My ultimate goal is to become a traveling photographer for National Geographic.
It's great to find a forum that incorporates most of my favorite activities into a common pool of knowledge. I can't wait to start learning the ways of expedition off-roading, and making some friends along the way. I've been camping for most of my life, since I can remember, and just recently venturing out of the campgrounds and into the remote areas. I'm a total noob when it comes to most of this stuff, but I do know a lot about my truck and cars in general.
Here's a few photos of my truck so far. I have a long way to go still, but I'm determined to reach my goal!
