Thanks for the complement. Eye ball engineered, garage floor build, I don't think so! I have read through your build, you do very nice work! I love old things brought back with a modern twist. Very nice! I look forward to meeting you at the rally.
Thanks I appreciate it. Look forward to checking your trailers out in person!

Nice work man, Didn't think that JK could look any sweeter then you hitch that up :)

Mark I saw that Apachee too. I thought of turnig it sideways on the front of a car hauler. That way the side door wouldn't be an issue. It looks clean. I agree with you on the rear door model being better suited for mods like this psycho. My Chief is a lil more of a PIA to mod too.

So, you're only 10% away from getting to start the Apache. I'm going to go start a build thread for you, so I can subscribe right now ;)

If you'll recall I'm about 90% done with a fairly expensive and time consuming build of my own *sigh*

Finally back from my three week trip to Montreal; back to the important stuff.

Trailer is getting dropped of on wednesday for paint and then it's crunch time; still trying to make the overland rally at the end of june.

lots of little things to do now; big thing is to build a clam shell top for it; shouldnt take me long!

My wife picked out the floors; Vinyl Allure plank, should hold up well and look good; may give it that cabin in the woods feel!

Go look at Wal-Mart before you commit. I got a nice queen size memory foam topper that was 4" thick for like $90-$100 The upholsterer that did my other work had a foam cutting knife and trimmed it to size. SUPER comfortable. An electric hot-knife works too. I also got a 2" topper for the bench cushion and there's no way I could sleep on it-not enough cushioning. But it might be worth a look if it saves a couple hundred. The folks on the teardrop sites rave about them.

I have looked at the Walmart toppers: I may go that route still, I would need two full size, they are 109 each for the 4". The upholsterer said his price on high quality dense foam is 175 each. I think I'm just going to play along and a least check his out, probably not much of a difference between his and wal marts!
