Looking at the photo above got me wondering if it would make sense for the jerry cans to be on the left hand side? Configured that way a simple siphon could be used to fill the Xterra gas tank.

Maybe, but the arrangement shown keeps more of the rear glass open for visibility with the cans below the glass level and the spare on the side with the higher glass. Probably in the end would just be a matter of personal preference. If I still had my X I would like the arrangement shown rather than with the cans and spare flopped because rearward visibility is needed more often than moving fuel from jerry can to vehicle tank. But again, to each his own - that's why there are so many cool Nissans on this site. Makes me miss my X but the Frontier is working out great so no complaints.

Kaymar does make one but good luck getting it in stock and 3 grand no way. Our trucks are widely used all over the globe why is it so damn hard to just get a rear tire carrier and jerry can BUMPER!!!!!!!!??
