New Orleans Mechanic Recommendations

I've been following the forum for some time now; what a great community of enthusiasts.

We've recently moved back from Europe and just ended an eight week 10,000 mile trip from Florida to Whistler, BC then ended in to New Orleans for a new home. Now looking for a mechanic for my 2007 LR3. Time for new brakes and no longer have a garage or driveway to do this myself.

Any recommendations?

I'd suggest Frozen Rotors, drop me a line if you want me to try and get you a deal. I don't have an direct connections to a shop in LA, but there is a dealer there if you can't find one.

Here are a few to try if you don't get any endorsements. http://www.lrshops.com/search?q=New+Orleans,+LA

If you want to come to Austin, I definitely can refer you.

I haven't been able to find indy shops myself; however that list is news to me... I can speak to the dealership in Baton Rouge though, they are reasonably priced and do good work quickly. Don't have any experience with the dealer in New Orleans, both shops are about the same distance from me and I got a better vibe from the Baton Rouge one when I was calling around looking for help with our 07.

Hello fellow La guy. The simple thing to do is call one of the local brake shops and see if they will install parts u supply I just swapped to EBC green stuff pads and rotors that I ordered online. Also order two sensors and have them replaced at the same time. Brakes wise the lr3 is simple to change.
