Plans change at the drop of a hat in the Aggie household. Especially when your birthday is today and you receive this from your darling family....

That is going to reduce the dual battery setup to a single battery and change my 12v requirements greatly. I think I am going to have to start looking at RV breaker boxes and see how they can be adapted to our little expedition trailers.

You know the only real advantage I can see of having the 2000 when it comes to camping is running so powerful tools and a microwave for some hot pockets ;)

The ability to tie two together to double the power is a cool feature. I don't see myself needing this feature but it's nice to know you have that option if the need arises.

Maybe if my wife upgrades to 4000W hair dryer. :Wow1: :sombrero:

It's certainly an event, disaster, or remote lodge type setup. I recal being a t a dog play day down in S. FL and something was being run off two linked 3000's barely even noticed they were running. Honda's good and you absolutly get what you pay for though if they'd knock $500 0ff I'd feel better about what I paid for.

Looks FANTASTIC! :Wow1: After breaking it in now, is there anything you'd change, things you'd like to add to it, etc?

Well it ain't broken in yet, but there is a lot I will be adding to it for sure. I doubt any project in my life is ever "completed".

-I want a side box and awning something fierce on the driver's to keep all of my kitchen stuff.
-I need to figure out a better jack solution, I need something that will get it level. Carrying blocks of wood around is ridiculous.
-Water tank, pump and sink for washing dishes and maybe taking a shower would be very cool.
-Finish my electrical system, I want light. I need light inside of the rear box and in the tent. I also want to set up flood lights around the trailer. Right now the electrical system is about 70% complete, just need to finish assembling the parts and wire it up.

At this point that is really all I can think that I want to do. I would mount a propane tank on the trailer but the 1# containers are actually doing pretty well for me.

The awning is certainly nice, especially if you'll be in an area without much natural shade available. I didn't know it before today, but the awning Robert installed is on telescoping rods that can raise it up quite a bit. I just thought it would be pulled straight out causing me to have to duck under it a bit.

Glad to hear you're almost done with your control panel! I certainly want to check it out when it's completed...hopefully that will be prior to the WFTW event. :D
