That is great news for a lighter Pelican case!!! I have a huge amount of these "older" cases for all sorts of uses.

Very cool, it was always my only gripe was the initial weight of the empty case. What an awesome improvement if they are able to keep the strength up without the weight!

i was hoping my camera store would have some in last week when i stopped by so i could play with one but they didn't have any stock of them yet. i'm planning on a new case soon and wanted to check one out before i made up my mind
