However, I use my LLAMS to get into garage spaces by dropping as low as possible. I could measure the change from "normal" ride height to lowest at both front and rear for comparison but I'm curious if you already know:

Im sorry I do not have exact measurements for this but it is very close to 2inch.

will the spacers limit how far I can drop the vehicle using these tools.

No but the bump stops will now be 2in taller.

There is still some sway if I yank hard on the rack so I would think that means it's still not quite ON the bump stops. I suppose I could find out by using the IIDtool to do a system purge which would be like loosing all the air and compare that height.

That is a good idea. Please keep in mind your truck may sit on the body tires before it sits on the bump stops.

Basically, I wouldn't want to loose too much of my lowest height or damage the struts by compressing them more than it can at the moment.

I understand. Bump stops are bumps stops. This kit will not cause damage to the struts.

Excellent question! with the larger tires and the Baja Rack, I need to air down to Access mode to get into the garage and don't have much to spare to get it thru the garage. therefore if the spacers don't retain the same overall height when dropped to Access, then this would make the decision to buy much harder.

They do not change the hight in any settings. Access will remain the same.

Is this something that will work with the factory 18" in 33 x 12.5" using the terra firma spacers? Also, I have the tactical rover sliders, would that interfere with the locations needing to be trimmed in the rear of the front fender well? Is an aftermarket bumper required?

This is a truly awesome setup!

These will work with all of those parts or none of them. They only interact with the suspension.

Being new to this whole LR3 thing, I've gotta say that its pretty damn neat to see you guys so amped about a new product. And the genuine desire to learn all of the pros/cons. I guess I'm kind of like the big girl at prom, just happy to be here... hahaha

Thank you for the kind words

I would say this is true because the "access" height is still not really all that close to "sitting on the bump stops".

Therefor, using one of the electronic tools allows us to go even lower. Testing will show what that lowest height is and if actually sitting onto the bump stops will now be possible by using an electronic tool. As it is now, I don't think I can get mine quite there but I'll do a "purge system" test to see if that results lower than my LLAMS tool provides. I suspect up front it's already on the stops because when engaging the "red button", only the rear drops more while the front really doesn't budge much from the setting "access" & "-20mm". The rear drops about an inch though.

We shall see, my hunch is that these spacers will actually result in the front fully dropped being 2" higher and my minimum height of 80.75" at rear Hannibal awning bolt also increasing to 82.75"

Here's what I have to start with as measured today:

Did a quick "test" just by hand with tape measure but it came out to -18mm F and -45mm R.

This is using the LLAMS tool from factory "access" height to lowest the LLAMS will do on a mid MY 2007 lr3. They told me that late 07+ will do a -30 drop by the dial but my dial only drops by -20 first and then the "red extra" button drops the remaining maximum amount it allows.

So, base line at access was 402 F , 430 rear center of wheel to underside edge of fender plastic. Measuring the same way next it was 390/420, then 380/385.

Being able to drop -45mm from access on the rear is what really helps with garages because that's the highest point, even on a stock vehicle.

With my Hannibal rack mounted and the rear 1.2M Hannibal awning, the highest point is the top of the arm pivot bolt. With the above drops, mine are just a bit under 80" . The garage is 82.25" at all points across it's double width.

It would be interesting to find out that with these bump stop spacers, I couldn't drop under 82" anymore... The rack itself would clear it but not the awning and the awning basically lives on the rack as an "all or nothing" package.

I appreciate someone making a product like this, but I am pretty tired of the prices on this stuff. If it were $200 range I probably wouldn't mind so much, but I think this is a bit ridiculous, like a lot of rover related aftermarket. This definitely deserves a place on the mod planning list, but when I look at the list and the prices I am in shock.

I will watch for a group buy on this I guess.
