Hello Everybody,

We have been working for a while on a Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Sport (2005-2011) roof rack for the factory crossbars, the rack is low profile and includes 4 mounting brackets and all the hardware to be mounted, since the rack mounts to the factory crossbars the weight limit is 100lb perfect for carrying extra gear. Rack weight 40 lb . Price $450.00 (On Tuesday of next week (3/08) the information will be uploaded to our site)
By the middle of April we will have a new rack for those trucks that don't have a factory one.

Weight?

Any consideration to extending the wind deflector lower to partially cover the gap between roof and rack?

Weight 40lb. We are currently working on a version for trucks that don’t have a factory rack, this new rack will be lower profile and will be able to withstand more weight.

Very interested in a lower profile non-factory-rack equipped 1st Gen doublecab version.

Double cab this, double cab that!!! WHAT ABOUT US EXTENDED CAB PEOPLE!!! haha just kidding.....but seriously something would be nice

It really does look great and if yall made a bed rack id be all over it....hell i'll even let you borrow my truck for fit testing :victory:

Of course it wouldn't be to hard to fab up some brackets and and put it in the back.....anyways good job

great rack system!

BajaRack, thanks for the awesome products!

I have been running this exact rack set up for almost a year now and it has worked great. Light weight, low profile, and stout. I have had 70+ pounds of gear up there in Hardigg cases plus some firewood, and it has been rock solid over some pretty rough terrain. Weight limit is due to the OEM crossbars alone, I would imagine the Bajarack basket itself could support a lot more.

The only issue I've had is the gap to the roofline at the front is a branches magnet. Since I don't want to bother with limb risers I have a design for a longer fairing to cover more of the gap that I'm planning to fab up this spring sometime...
