New shoes for the Suburban

Factory on a Sub? Arent they tow mirrors off a heavy pickup? Neither of our Z71/Tow-package-equipped 05 Tahoe or '02 Sub came with those mirrors.

Looks good. That's a Ranch Hand bumper / grill guard, is it not? How do you like it? The weight any impact on ride etc?

Mine is a ‘06 2500, the tow mirrors were a factory option on it. The front bumper is a Frontier and the rear is a Ranch Hand. The frontier is made out of diamond plate and doesn’t make the front feel heavy at all.

I believe he’s implying factory from gm. Not necessarily the suburban. Those are factory equipment on 06-07 HD pickups. They bolt in on the suburban and if options are similar the wiring is plug and play too. I have a set on my 04 Yukon from an 06 Silverado 3500.
They’re a factory option for my 2500 suburban

Interesting. Probably explains why I never see them, being around L.A. hard enough to find 4wd much less 2500s.

Does the front bumper mount like the others, at the frame ends only? I've long been considerin an Ares 4043 for my 1500, considering modifying it a good deal. Chiefly adding some sort of diagonal brace from teh uprights bat to the top of the frame ends, if I can.

Yes, bolts up directly to the frame ends and it’s solid. It doesn’t use or need any extra support.
