New Tires for my DII

It was time, the old shoes had worn down, chunked away and were becoming difficult to balance. Furthermore as my use of the vehicle has evolved so have its needs. The old tires were too stiff and their aging condition was becoming a detriment to traction.

After having the opportunity to examine several options up-close at the recent SEMA show I am very excited to be sitting on a new set of Toyo Open Country All Terrains in LT265/75R16 with an 8-ply "D"-Rating.

Here are a few teaser shots!

I'm impressed at how aggressive the tread pattern is for an AT tire

I'll have more images and feedback on the tires soon.

I think those have a similar (possibly same) tread as the Nitto Terragrapplers. I had them on my truck a while back and they handled well on and off road and were very quiet on road. You'll like them.

I have the Toyo M/T and other than noise they are fantastic tires. Balance very well with no vibes even after beating them to death. Wear has been really good as well.
