New to Forum & Overlanding

Hello All , I am new to expedition portal, as well as the whole concept of expedition/ overlanding. We recently purchased a 86' 300 gd, planing a trip to colarado this summer to see my brothers and next it's on to Costa Rica to visit my uncle at the ranch. I'm interested in learning about my vehicle as well as what to do and where to go with it. Thanks, Joey

Given the trips you plan I can highly recommend a book which I recently read.
Its called "OVERLAND - A Mercedes-Benz Journey Through the Americas"
Its about a fellow who took his 300GD to the bottom of South America and back.

It illustrates clearly that you have the right G for the job!
