After several weeks of waiting I the family and I flew down to pick up a new truck purchased via the forum. Basic highlights: 1998 UZJ 100 OEM rear locker; ARB front locker; ARB sahara bull bar; OME lift with T-bars; Slee diff. drop, step-sliders, skid plates and rear bumper; DBA rotors; 295 TKOs; 4.88 gears; Timbren bump stops; Total Choas UCA's, Front Runner roof rack, snorkel.
It was checked out by Frank over at http://southbaytruckand4x4.com/ who gave her a solid review. Thrilled with the condition she's in. The truck will be used as my DD (work from home so don't drive that much) and a family adventure rig. Expect a trailer is in my near future.
We spent a week in CA with our 17yr old and 5 yr old over spring break. Time spent between Big Bear for dirt and DisneyLand for the girls. Our oldest is back to WA now and we have 8 nights to get back via UT. We made it to St George, UT today, and will be stopping through Moab on Monday/Tuesday -- otherwise no solid plans for the next week. Anyone around the area this week?
