I have been a huge TLC all of my life and have owned several, however, I have always loved the Rovers so I finally put em up on the table and bought one. I am anxiously awaiting my new 95 RRC LWB to be shipped to UT. As soon as I get it I will post some pics. Some of the maintenance and mods that were performed:

Top end re-build - including lapping of the valves
Viscous gear replacement
Steering box replacement
Radiator core replaced
Water pump/thermostat replaced
New brakes
New seals for front hubs
New cat back exhaust
RTE 3" suspension lift
Fox Shocks
RTE front and rear bumpers
RTE Skid Plates
New BF KM2's
New Winch
Hella Lights
Baja Expedition Rack
RTT

I will shortly be installing a snorkel - which would be nice if I could find a helping hand in Salt Lake City.

This is my first Rover and am super excited so I looked hard and wide to find one that has been thoroughly kept up on maintenance. If there is anybody here in Utah that is familiar with Rovers please let me know to maybe help me baseline my truck and or go through everything to make sure i'm up to pare on my PM. Or if anybody wants to go out and hit the trails let me know as well.

Excited to be joining the addiction.

Sounds like a great truck, where did you find it if you dont mind me asking? Was the BW viscous coupler transfer box swapped out for an LT230 or just the viscous coupler replaced? If the latter that's the only thing I can see that I would change with the truck down the road sometime when you felt the need to tinker. Should be a nice rig right out of the box.

Good for you! I'm glad you were able to find one with that much of attention given to it! And a LWB to boot! Congratts, and welcome to the dark side!

Welcome to the addiction. And I mean addiction - as in - have you decided what your second Rover will be yet? :smiley_drive:

I know a lot of people poo poo on dealerships, but I can promise you that not all are evil people looking to rape your wallet. I work at the Centerville dealership and there is a pretty big group of people here that are enthusiasts as well as employee's. Personally I have had 2 Classics, 4 Disco's (3 series 1 and a series 2) and a P38. And there are guys here that make my list of rovers look pathetic haha
