I love my golight. I think i purchased model 2021. One thing that golight or another company should look into is more mounting options. I fab'd up my mount pretty easily but i bet there are some people that might have more specific mounting needs.

Big improvement over the first pic.I like it.I do have a question tho. What is the floor covering you used in this pic?It would be good for my leaky truck.

The floor covering is a rubber floor kit that i found on the internet. I think LMC also carries them.

Update: I had the rear end rebuilt and i actually get to drive it now. I got a new windshield and installed a flip out screen stereo that was given to me. I am wanting to add a backup camera and this was an easy way to do it. I purchased a premade high-beam, low-beam all on harness for cheap and would like to get these mirrors:

Being that is is a project truck, I run into a problem or two every week it seems. Right now I am having an issue with the transmission positivly switching into Park. Ill have to check it out when i get some free time.

Continued plans: Custom shackle mounts to replace my tow hooks, back up camera (recomendations) , hook up my cable for aux jack, the towing mirrors I posted above, and switch all of my forward facing lighting to a better lighting. I am thinking of hella 500's on the bumper and on the roof rack.. Any recomendations???

When it gets a little warmer, paint my bumpers satin black.

Very nice job on the rocker switches in the overhead console. They look factory, with workmanship like that can't wait to see the finished truck.

Thanks! I searched for good ideas for a location for theses switches for a while. After talking to my younger brother about a good location we both thought the overhead console location would fit it the best.

I fixed my transmission shifting into park issue - the bolt on the linkage was starting to come loose. I tightened it up. Im going to loctite it in the next week or so when works calms down.

If anyone is interested , I ordered these switches from OTRATTW.com , along with the switch panels and cool pre made fuse box. Being that this is a 2 door tahoe, it does not have rear air ( i dont think any 2 doors had this option anyway) and the panel was blank. After some quick measuring and scribing some lines, i cut out the panel with a dremmel and ran the wiring down the drivers side a-pillar.

All lights are hooked up to relays, which made running small gauge wire from the switch to the relay very easy.

More to come in the next few weeks.
