The PO had a different head...one that fit the cabinet but not the "holder"...i found the original style on line ...tried it and yep..it is weak... I didnt try the other one before pulling it off but now I will
The old guy handle is just any off the shelf stairway assist handle...we picked white powder coat

The Lagun table, though pricey is soooo much more versatile that a "post " table...and you can move it outside and attach a bracket to the outer wing of the wrap!!

I still haven't had time to actually mount mine - can I ask what you mounted to? There's not a whole lot of material on that wall.

used the wall below the dinette bed...interior wall spacer of ply to move it out from the molding and match drilled plywood backing on the exterior wall

To be clear: you drilled all the way through the wall? I was almost going there with my thinking too, since that wall is thin and the vertical studs fairly few, but stopped short because it seemed a bit overkill.

Pics...finally

OK TC650 friends...our maiden voyage was from Mescal AZ to the top of Mt Graham to Riggs Flat Lake with our grandkids. About 3 hrs from home , paved except for last 12 miles of graded dirt . Altitude at 8400 feet temps were 66 daytime and mid 40's at night. Nice lake ...fishing from shore was iffy...lots of weeds...but grandson got his first ever fish :wings:just before we left for home on Sun.
Saw a half dozen deer...could hear turkeys in the nearby pines...warnings of black bear and mountain lion...didnt see or hear either. Mandatory s'mores on Sat night....had a blast:victory:
Next trip should be Blue Ridge Reservoir north of Payson in July...Baja in October....04 Tundra and 03 TC650 on its was home.jpgP6140388.jpgP6140389.jpgP6130377.jpg

Lagun Table mount

lagun table.jpglagun table.jpg

I still have to detail the spacer and stain to match..but its simply a 1/2 in ply reinforcement on this side and a matching piece on the exterior and through bolted. It makes a rock solid mount. The Lagun is such a versatile table accessory. When you drop it down to form the bed, the upright and the table's arm stow in a channel on the table mount..out of sight but handy when you want to go back to a table

Thanks for the detail photos on the leg. I wonder if the new Northstars with a Lagun have extra material in that wall? I know they don't thru-bolt.

My Northstar has a door right where yours is bolted. Do you have an opinion on mounting it to one side or the other of that location?
