New Xterra OR for $22K?

I had a great experience with Carmax on another purchase as did my friend who went and got his Xterra there. You might have had a truly bad experience, but they were true to their word on this deal. No hidden fees, no upsale, very straightforward.

Yeah, at those prices a white 2008 X would definitely be in my driveway right now... damn PNW dealers, lol.

I just read someone on clubfrontier just bought a brand new '08 CC 4x4 SE with the value truck package - $17,600 plus TTL.

WOW!

That's the same dealership. The price I was given was via email after some internet haggling so you may can get a little better deal in person. It's a buyers market for sure, I just hate to be upside down in a vehicle even more than I am now. I gave less than $26k for my frontier a year ago now you can get a new one for thousands less than what my payoff is. :(

I had a good experience the first time i bought a car there. However I recently took a friend there to help her fiond a car. Not only did they jack up the price after we came back from looking at other cars, after getting them back down and getting her approved and everything set up for her to come back in 2 days with the down payment and to sign the paperwork, they ship the car to another location. As far as I am concerned I will never do business with them again

Yeah, the downside to this discounting is that it really hits the value of the vehicles we own now. Notice how little discounting Toyota has ever done on the Tacoma and the unusually strong resale value they have. Used Tundras (which have been heavily discounted in recent years) are about the same price as a used Tacoma even though they cost thousands more when new.
