Nice trip report (as always). I also spent NYE at the warm springs in Saline Valley. In fact, I think I was camping not too far from you, a bit closer to the upper spring. I had the Subaru Outback (drove it down Lippencott!) with the orange tent.

Did you see that large group of Europeans(?) )(i had no clue what language they were speaking, but it was not English) with the massive tepee tent? They had that gas powered lantern which was like a stadium light, it was so bright.

I remembering hearing that you came down that and was thoroughly impressed, since we were hesitant to even look at Lippencott with the amount of raining that's been falling lately.

Yes, i remember those folks.. that tent was crazy big.. it was like a circus tent!

Don't know yet, think it's something with the steering column because the horn is working whenever it feels like also. It's strange, i have the FSM out but really haven't had a second to check it out. This weekend i will be attacking that.
