canter and van small.jpg

So I suppose now would be a good time to show what ive got to play with
The canter was purchased new as a cab chassis in 2007 the body was custom built in bundaberg and fitted out by me over time
on top I carry 2 boats, the tinnie and a 4 meter inflatable rolled up inside the tinnie (ones for fishing the other diving) the outboard sits on a swing away stowage / trolley between the cab and body
on the back i carry a 2009 Suzuki V strom on a custom built loader
The cab has been customised for two and a bird
I carry all the basics, water, power, gennie etc aswell as all my toys and tools (you gotta have golf and fishing)
Im now concentrating on the underside
Ive already fitted the steering damper and 16500 lb winch and a set of "ralph" shock
next move is the suspension, wheels and tyres

Im open to any suggestions

were in WA at the moment about to head north, from there we plan to go across the top which will end our first circumnavigation via the coast road.
after that we start again on the next set of roads back from the coast and so on and so on
kind of like an ever decreasing circle
well thats the plan anyway

Stu. That stretch of coast would be one of my favourite parts of the country. I could stay there for a loooooong time.

Bugger that....... I would have started in the middle and worked my way out ....at least it would be getting cooler all the time...haha.

Too right the WA coast is awsome and with that in mind we are planning on a nice slow trek north.
all going well it should take us a good 12 months to get to darwin

anyway we have to get back to queensland so i can get the parabolics done on the canter
just gotta do somthing about the suspension before we start the inland circles
