Next Gen Wrangler will have diesel, hybrid and pickup

Color be purple, it looks like it's actually been confirmed in the business plan update

I do note it doesn't explicitly state the diesel or hybrid will be available in North America, but it does mention the fuel economy requirements are a driving factor.

Exciting, would love to replace my pickup with a Jeep one in the future. It will probably be too small though. Picked up a Grand Cherokee this week for the family vehicle with the diesel, really impressed so far. Great power and really quiet smooth ride.

Interested in seeing how the hybrid is going to work. Will they make it an electric motor torque monster? or will they make it a prius sissy mobile.
