Google is accepting pre-orders for the new phones through the play.google.com online store. The phones will ship in about a month. It's possible the Nexus phones will be available through cell phone carriers like T-Mobile, but nothing has been announced.

If you buy a Nexus phone through Google Project Fi, there's an option for 24 month financing, no interest charges if you pay monthly.

Nexus 5X, 32 GB storage: $17.88 per month, 24 months
Nexus 6P, 32 GB storage: $20.79 per month, 24 months

These are rad phones and project Fi is interesting as well. The price is outstanding and makes it hard to justify the very good iPhone.

No wireless charging = non-starter for me.

We've completely adapted to the wireless charging ecosystem - we've got Qi pads all over the place (upstairs, downstairs, at work, even in my car!). I never want to go back to plugging in a charger again. Looks like we'll be keeping our Nexus 4 and 5 for a while.

Wouldn't mind picking up a used N5 to replace the wife's 4, though...

I'm withe Herbie, Qi charging rules. I'm in no hurry, guess I'll wait too.
