Touche! Actually I do use Rainex and it works well, at least for a short while. The original formula also works way, way, better than their 2-in-1 glass cleaner.

Fogtech looks interesting. They also sell a rainex alternative. Does anybody know if its any good?

I never have used the rain-x alternative. Will have to give it a shot, have a name? I do keep those fog wipes and a small bottle of rain-x in my pack...I am more of a goggle guy than a shield dude.

For wet climes....use either snow goggles or rip out the top foam from regular goggles, to help from fogging.

Fogtech Raincoat Its designed for plastic rather than glass unlike Rain-X so its supposed to be better for motorcycle visors.

Anyway back to riding in the dark...

I love night rides but only on interstates or highways when on my bike. Those back roads do get tricky when the sun goes down.
