I'd like to know the price on the 35-70,the 80-200, 35 and 28, add the 50 as well although I'd rather have the 1.4.

Is the 35-70 the 2.8-4 lens that also has macro? I'm not familiar with a 35-70f2.8.

Some great glass choices..

So why not just switch to a nikon digital and use all your existing lenses?

The new D7000 should be a great expediton camera with "compact" size, mag all-weather body....

I would be interested in a couple if you decided to seperate.

D7000 is crap. You want to go full sensor or nothing.

Good luck with the sale. If you change your mind on my offer it still stands.

That F5 is a killer camera. New in the box is rare. Thats what real camera are like.

But then you have to carry a full frame camera :( The size and weight is a major drawback. Also the 1.5x crop factor is great when shooting wildlife.

Don't get me wrong the D700 or better is nice but I don't want to worry about a 3k camera when I am climbing in the back country. My D90 has plenty of scratches etc...

Why is the D7000 crap? Just because it is new and has a certain amount of unknowns?

To the OP what brand are you switching to?

The Canon 5d is a full frame camera and its about the same size of the Nikon D90.

Because its just more of the same old. Nikon and Canon come out with new models every year that really are not any better than the current models. Why would I buy a D7000 when for the same money I can have a used D2hs. Or why a new Canon 7d when I can have a used EOS-1d Mark IIN?

This is why I like Olympus. They dont replace a camera til they have a truely better product thats worth a new model. Canon and Nikon do what they do to just sell a new more expensive model, the prices are never lower than the out going model.

35-70 f2.8 has a max aperture of 2.8 and micro only when set at 35mm but I'm no sure what's the magnification. I always use the 60mm micro when needed and is a 1:1
