Maybe not my Patrol but a rented one :) My Patrol was absent this monsoon season for the VK56-swap
It's okay; now that you have yours back, and with the new motor, you can just send me that white one ... it'll do just fine as is (to start a build), I almost don't even care about what motor it has ... the fact that it's a Y61, that I likely would never be able to get, is enough ... :drool:

lol! It's a 2012 Nissan Patrol Y61 with the famous TB48DE 4.8L Inline-6, 276hp & 295 lb-ft. New one costs around 46-55k$. The 2010+ models are still bought by oil companies, military, police, car rent companies, tour companies, etc.

I doubt that engine would pass emission test in the US, the most obvious reason why it's not sold there, plus bad fuel economy.
 
For most things I think you will find the frontier itself is rugged enough. Unless you want to rock crawl I would stay close to stock and spend monies on other enhancements... But that is me.
