HAHA. I’m not that old. If I bought the truck new in 95 I would have been 14 yrs old. But, yea the pic does look kind of old. It’s probably because I scanned it.
Umm…..history…..
I bought the truck in 03 (6yrs ago. woops) at an auction in Orlando. Paid $6400 with about 60,000miles on it. 4cyl engine, stick, and everything was in great shape. I think I got a decent deal. When I moved home from Orlando a few years later I put on a 3” Body Lift. The 32” tires I bought before the move rubbed too much. Then a couple months later a deer hit me. Stupid deer. Why would you jump in front of a truck going 80mph? I bought the truck back from the insurance company and started to put it back together. Every weekend I caught a ride back home from College and piece it back together. It took me about 2 months to get it back on the road.
The design for the front bumper came from JP (the sweet white HB). Thanks again for the sharing your design JP. :jump:I upgraded the sound system and added the rear bumper before I moved back to FL. The bumper I designed myself. I needed a hitch for the move and I also wanted a matching rear bumper. I figured for the cost of the hitch I could get the bumper built for a few more bucks. I’m on my 3rd transmission. Put a new one in last January. For the last 4 month the truck has been sitting at my friends place. I bent all the valves. I needed a new timing chain. I had some friends help me that have done this fix before and we goofed up. Right now I’m really considering selling it. I could use the money and I can’t have it sit at my buddies place forever. It’s going suck because I’m attached this truck. First vehicle I’ve owned. I’ll probably buy another Nissan down the road. An extended cab HB or Frontier. I could use the leg room.
Well that’s the history in a nutshell.
