I like that. Do you have a few more pics? Cheers from Toronto

I found some other ones:
This one is with the lift and tires only:

This one is with everything in my signature but the skids:

I just got my first DSLR camera so I'm sure I will post some more eventually. I think the R51 is underrated, it's a great platform for expedition if you don't go too hardcore. I see it as a fronty in an SUV format but with an independent rear suspension (IRS). Passenger capacity was important to me, although I don't have kids. If I knew better I would have get an Xterra like everyone else (I knew nothing about 4X4 when I got it) but now that I know that the IRS limit wheel travel a bit, I'm still glad I got it. It works for me. It's comfy on long stretch!

I agree that the R51 is underrated ... I've had a couple of conversations with Xterra buddies (I've got an '08 OR version) about the fun you could - potentially - have with that IRS, if you were willing to do a little leg/fab work to source some parts ... I keep waiting for my good friend who's got an '05 Pathy to let me loose on his, but it hasn't happened yet. :D

Cool to see someone else modding their R51, you don't see it all that often ... the F-Alpha platform (in Frontier/Xterra/Pathfinder flavor) is IMO one of the better late-model vehicles for a build that can get you there and back, and then to work on Monday.

Who knows, I might change the rear differential one day for the one on the V8 Pathfinder and install an air locker. There is after market support for them as well, an ARB bumper with off road lights are possible future mods:) Oh and no need for a RTT with that much room in the cargo (well, I'm pretty sure, I haven't slept at the back yet).

Hey, if my 6'4" self can fit in the back of my X, I'm pretty sure you'll fit in the Pathy ... :winky-smiley-business:

What's the rear diff on the V8 Pathys? Is it the same center section as one of the Xterra/Frontier diffs (c200k/m226)? Or something else? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to derail the picture thread ...

I don't want to derail the picture thread but I'm sure some people would like to know as well. Thenissanpath.com is a forum for all generation of Pathfinder. It's a great resource for Pathfinder owners. I got the info there. Here I pasted the info from a thread (I'm sure rragpaoa wont mind it) and the link is at the end. The author of the thread posted on expo a while ago, he has a 2008 with a V8 and does go off road with it. His pathfinder is the model on ARB website for the pathfinder ARB bumper.

"The V8 has the same front M205 AND rear R230 diffs as the Armada. I swapped out the 2.94 to the 3.357 without issues. Went with 34 inch tires and ARB air locked rear. It's my DD and Expedition vehicle. I know Marc at ARB in WA and the front M205 locker should be available end of 2012 or beginning 2013. Both the R230 and M205 can be swapped out with the V6. Direct bolt-on. You only need to buy the axle shafts from from the V8 Pathie. This is a great Expedition vehicle overall in size, comfort, and capability.
I too was thinking about the Landcriuser, but no regrets since my Pathie has gone everywhere my buddies with Jeeps and Toyota FJ's has gone.. really!
Good luck."

He also get more wheel travel by disconnecting both sway bars!
