Nitto Ridge Grappler vs Toyo RT Trail

We are closing in on 4 weeks with the RT Trails. So far, so great. Not noisy, track great. We’re a bit squirmy at first but tire shop over inflated them. I dropped 5 psi (to 30) and they are now very solid on road. I have them on my ‘03 Sequoia so the E rating is a bit higher than I need at full pressure.

So far, the offroad traction and manners have been exemplary. Mud? Pffft. Bring it. Sand washes? Got it covered! Rocks? Somehow I still have sidewalls!

Obviously my photos are in jest. It’s been super dry here for the most part, but on the daily forestry roads drives, they’ve been fantastic.

I’ve got about 4k miles on my RT Trails and so far my experience has been like others have said, very good. On a full size truck with interstate hauls they’re fairly quiet and sure footed. Had them aired down on some medium rated trails in Southern Utah and they hooked up flawlessly too. So far they seem like a good compromise for mixed terrain and they do look cool too.
