I met these owners in a Home Depot parking lot when the vehicle caught my eye, it’s impossible to miss! I was given a tour and can honestly say that it looks brand new inside and out. It seems to show only highway miles and I could not find one scratch-anywhere. As I am looking to buy. I invited them to my nearby home for a closer examination of the vehicle. I helped them wash & wax it which really gave me the opportunity to closely examine the Turtle and found it to be almost brand new. They have had RV mechanics take care of the small bugs that pop up on any new vehicle shake down cruise. I would feel secure going anywhere. Perfect for a couple and/or with two children. I need a crew cab with four seats as I usually travel/camp with four adult family members. I need to sleep four comfortably. That is the only reason I had to pass on purchase. This vehicle still looks new. Definitely worth consideration if you are looking for a used but excellent condition off-road RV.

Looks awesome! I'm in the market, but do need 4 seatbelts. Is there seatbelts at the dinette?

If you find out that there are not seatbelts on the dinette I suggest you contact GXV to see if they can add them.

We have two seatbelts on the side bench seat on our GXV Patagonia model in order to take 4 people since our Kenworth truck only has two seats in the cab.

Greg,
Good suggestion, I'll give a call and talk with Renee tomorrow. I've chatted with them a couple of times, checked out your rig online, it looks really great. How are you enjoying it after a couple of years?

We sold our house a year ago and have been living in it full time since then and it has worked out great. We make a few tweaks every once in awhile but we have no regrets on the purchase. Off to Alaska again this year and next year we will probably head to the Canadian Maritimes for a return trip there. We did a short trip there a few years ago in our Sprinter camper van but didn’t have the time to really explore very much. We also want to start doing more travel in the western states so we have plenty to see for many years...

Hello,
I really like your set up. You ladies invested in a beautiful home. :) It is inspiring to see folks traveling, exploring and living their lives to the fullest Overland style. My partner and I are looking to do a RTW trip and we’re in the market for a vehicle. I am really interested to know about Uithium Batteries. They seem to be the latest technology in battery power.
Have they worked well in your rig?
Are the Uithium Batteries charged by the Solar panels or some other way?
Your feedback and insight is most appreciated.
Thank you

The Lithium batteries are awesome. They are charged by the 3 solar panels & also by the truck engine. We are very impressed by this set up.

GXV uses a Mastervolt electrical system and the Mastervolt lithium batteries communicate over the Mastervolt network with the solar charger and the shore power charger to insure that the lithium cells are not overcharged. Our truck has an Onan 6kw generator that is also controlled by the Mastervolt system to auto start when the battery charge gets low and auto shut off when the batteries have reached full charge. Very robust and reliable marine electronics with worldwide support if you are traveling abroad.
